Robert grew up listening to the music of the early 20th century, and he fell even more deeply in love with it while researching and co-writing Cagney, his musical about screen legend and song-and-dance man James Cagney. Ain't We Got Fun! was born of that passion.

The album features songs primarily from the first three decades of the 1900s, along with two Creighton originals from his award-winning musical. Robert and producer/arranger Georgia Stitt have created a good-time, vintage-sounding album with such authenticity and enthusiasm that listeners of all ages will be tapping their toes and crooning along to some of the most beautiful American melodies ever written.

And the icing on the cake: delightful guest appearances by Joel Grey, Kate Baldwin, Heidi Blickenstaff, and Tituss Burgess.
